If you wish to race a GMP formula (Stock Rod, Hot Rod, Prostock, Banger Stock or Mini Stock) you can download the 2008 GMP licence form in PDF format from the Download Centre (link to the right). Simply print, complete and post the form to the promotion registration office (address given in the "Contact Us" page) together with a passport size photograph and a cheque to cover the registration fee (see link to the right). It should be noted that licenses will NOT be issued unless a passport sized photograph is supplied. Licences will be processed and ready for collection along with a "Rules of the Racing" and "Car Specification" booklet at the first race event you attend. Alternatively you can apply for a licence at any race event throughout the season. Simply bring all paper work to the track office, and you will be issued with your licence.
Each licence applicant can also pay for up to two mechanics at £20.00 each, this gives two free entries to the Cowdenbeath Racewall in addition to the driver, for events in which the driver in question is participating. It should be noted that mechanics cannot be added to licences at a later date and if required must be taken on the day of licence application.

In the licence application form you will be asked for your race number, if the number you request is already in use by a currently registered driver, or a driver registered in the previous year, you will be asked for an alternative choice or assigned a race number by the promotion.

GMP Rules of the Racing Handbook
We currently have a limited supply of the GMP Rules of the Racing Handbook. This is the same handbook which has been in use since January 2000. New drivers and all drivers who do not have a copy of this handbook should collect their free copy from the Track Office at a race event or the promotion office during normal working hours.
